Who can attend? 
Anyone. General public including children and youth, filmmakers, industry professionals, press, you name it.

Who can submit?
Anyone, regardless of origin, language, religion, background etc.

What types of films are you looking for?
Films that were made more than the sake of making a film - we are looking for meaningful expression of this artistic medium.

What is the purpose of "About (the Baha'i faith)" & "By (Baha'is)" categories?
To encourage filmmakers to explore Baha'i themes in their work and showcase such work that otherwise may not have an exhibition platform elsewhere.

What are some Baha'i-themes and topics that could qualify under "About" category?
Anything from it's mystical teachings of searching for truth to practical teachings of harmony of science and religion. Here is a list.

What types of films do you usually receive?
For example in Take 4 the festival received submissions in all categories and in various genres. Leading categories were Shorts at 46%, Documentary 21%, Animation 14%, Features 7%, followed by Music videos, Experimental, TV Shows and Webcasts.

What about the premiere status of the showcased films?
Most of the films shown at the festival are never before seen region. For example, 23% were World Premiers, 21% International, 7% North America, 19% United States and the rest were local/city premiers.

How can I support the festival?
There are many avenues: Donors, Sponsors, Partners, Supporters, Inters and Volunteers.  Please get in touch with us and we'll be happy to help you find your path of contribution.

Which categories do you accept submissions in? 
Feature Narrative, Short Narrative, Experimental, Documentary, Animation,  Music Videos and Webcasts.

How many films can I submit?
There is no limit on the number of entries, however you must fill a separate form for each. 

My project qualifies, what is next?
Fill the entry form and mail the DVD screener to the address provided.

What is your entry fee? Why?
Zero (insert your currency here) this year. Our aim is to keep the festival as accessible and friendly to the filmmakers as possible.

Can I re-submit a film that was not selected last year?
Yes, if it has been drastically re-edited.

What format should I submit in?
Films should be submitted in single-layer, DVD+/- with region set to 0, with no other encoding. Please do not submit any dual-layer or blue-ray DVDs. We also accept video in Quicktime and AVI as data on CDs or DVDs. In either case, please make sure your film plays on a regular DVD player or a computer before sending it to us.

Can I submit an online screener?
Online screener are accepted to expedite things on our side, but do not replace the mail-in DVDs which you are required as part of the entry process. The only accepted sites are YouTube and Vimeo.

What are the subtitle requirements?
All non-English films must have English subtitles. All non-English dialogues in an majority-English film must also have subtitles, unless it is left un-subtitled an artistic choice.

What should I include in the submission package?
A DVD copy of your film and promotional material if you are inclined to do so. Please do not use any paper-labels. Write your tittle and director's name on the DVD with a marker (Sharpie).
